Casa Boz - Rooms

Who we are

Casa Boz was founded in 1960 as Albergo Alpine Boz, but widely known as Albergo Boz. The structure, family run, has been split between the two brothers Boz: Vittorino kept the rooms and Dario the restaurant. The rooms continue to be managed by the family Boz and are open from June to October (included). They received the Carta Qualità d'Argento of the National Park Dolomiti Bellunesi, to certify the quality of our offer.

Where we are

From Feltre, take the road to Cesiomaggiore and, nearly at the end of Soranzen, on your left you will find the intersection to Val Canzoi: we are at the very end of the road, just before the Lago della Stua. If you arrive from Belluno, turn right at Santa Giustina, take the road to Cesiomaggiore and then go ahead to Soranzen: the intersection will be on your right.

The surrondings

Many activities for nature lovers, Val Canzoi is in fact the starting point for excursions to the main shelter area: Errera hut, bivouac Feltre, Boz hut, hut Dal Piaz and refuge Alvis among the most popular destinations. Those who prefer to stay in the valley, can enjoy the famous naturalistic walk of Val Canzoi: all these trails can be done walking, running or mountain biking in summer and with snowshoes or ski mountaineering in winter. In the area there are also suitable rocks for free climbers.

Even those who prefer not to make efforts can find many activities: in the lake and in the Caorame River, which runs through the valley, it is not unusual to see fishermen, people enjoying the sun or taking a bath, but you can also just relaxing immersed the sounds of nature that surrounds us and that makes this a unique valley. For a different day, you can also visit Feltre and its medieval buildings, or enjoy a cool beer in the famous brewery Pedavena, maybe during one of the many events that take place in these two towns.
